You may need to investigate Wesker the killer again. His ability has been slapping me against imaginary walls everytime he uses his ability.

hitboxes are just a rough approximation of your character and objects. he can slam you on the tiniest straw in your way if said straw has collision. The same as hatchets will sometimes hit "nothing". it's just how it is.
