Suggestion for Trickster
I've recently picked up Trickster and I'm deeply enjoying his gameplay, but I also see many of the reasons why his kill rate is mediocre (At least, according to nightlight: https://nightlight.gg/killers/viewer?sort=pick&shown=pick%2Ckill%2Cdist&start_days=28).
In my eyes, one of the biggest issues plaguing him is that if you don't land all 6 knife hits in a single chase, it was all for nothing. All of your Laceration stacks will fade away passively. This punishes him pretty severely for dropping chase or running out of ammo mid-chase, and makes it risky to try and chip away at a Survivor with 1-2 knife hits at a time (Which you are often forced to do on many loops).
Combine that with needing to reload at lockers, and you have a Killer that's strong in chase and brutal if they catch a Survivor in the open, but can quickly fall behind if anything goes even slightly wrong.
I think that if Survivors had to Mend (Or perform some Killer-specific action) uninterrupted for a few seconds to remove the Laceration stacks (Taking longer the more stacks you have), it'd help alleviate a lot of these issues. Nothing too major, maybe 2.5 seconds per knife? Just something that means every knife hit matters.

The punishment for running out of knives is needed, it makes you play more carefully rather than throwing flurries of knives everywhere. Rather than changing laceration, I think his ricocheting knife add-on should become base kit. It makes him more viable inside, where he suffers more, and doesn’t affect gameplay as much in open areas, where he performs better. I think the mend point you made is a good one though, would be interesting to see it implemented.

The Mend idea is good. 1.5 seconds per knife if a Team mates removes them, 2.5 per knife if you remove them yourself.

The biggest buff they could give Trickster is dealing with the random & inconsistent recoil when using a controller. It's already rough trying to aim with any killer in DBD on a pad, but impossible with Trickster. It's why no one on console runs him, no one.
We joke about something being "unplayable" but with a controller he is.
