What happened to the Boon CoH self-heal?

Anyone know why the self healing feature on Boon Circle of Healing is gone? I'm pretty upset about it bc that perk's feature was the entire reason I even bought Mikaela.

The perk got nerfed alongside a few other meta ones. It now only provides a heal speed bonus to altruistic heals without a medkit within the Boon's radius. It also reveals the Auras of injured Survivors to everyone while they're in the radius.

It was deemed too OP, and got subsequently nerfed into the ground.

Granted, they could have done the same with this as with Self-Care, and reduced the self-healing speed by a significant margin

It turned out the effect was kind of broken. Self healing on its own is already super powerful. Healing pressure is good because it gets 2 people off of gens. But with CoH, just one perk slot out of 16 on the team lets everybody self heal infinite times. the speed was the same as 50% self care way back which was a bad perk, but since everyone could use it it wasnt a waste of a slot.

so they gave it more altruism speed and got rid of the self heal. Kind of bad now.
