PC - Fails to update bloodweb

I'm trying to level up Mikaela Reid, and I'm guessing I haven't leveled her since last anniversary, due to mystery boxes appearing in her bloodweb prior to any attempt at leveling during the event, and when I try to redeem the mystery box, the bloodweb can't update and can't level as a result. Additionally, if I change a cosmetic on her and try it, it resets back to what it was before.
Step 1, have a character with a mystery box from prior to this event.
Step 2, try to redeem the mystery box (if it's not the last one you'll have to wait until the level-up finishes)
Step 3, have the error occur.
It occurs every time, and I tried at least 7 times.
