PC - Pinhead/Cenobite Chain Hunt not spawning the first 3 chains when killer finds the box

When I picked up the Lament Configuration as the killer, the first 3 chains didn't spawn on survivors, but when I downed a survivor holding the box it worked fine.
I am aware of the previous bugs which sometimes you picked up the box and the chain hunt reset instead of start getting full. But today (06/29/23) the bug that I mentioned happened for the first time to me, so I think it started on the last patch 7.0.2
