Erie of Crows hook blocked by bush

Unfortunately I didn't screen shot or record the EXACT map version, but I do have a video of the action, i was trying to hook a David and put him down because i was genuinely concerned
he was the cause of the malfunction. i do not blame the player anymore.
step 1 play erie of crows
step 2 down survivor near the big arch area
step 3 pick up and see hook around a split rock area with a pallet
step 4 path around a taller than huntress thin little dead bush (which stops a hatchet?????)
step 5 be to close to the hook unable to stand in the correct spot to do the hook animation
