Demonstration Videos

Firstly, this is not a complaint but simply a possible extra feature BHVR may be interested in to assist newer players.

Obviously there are videos on YouTube offering tips for basic survivor/killer tactics. Would it be interesting for either a) a video link to one of these in the tutorial for newer players to view (this would mean paying the YouTuber, I guess) or b) on the tutorial page have a video created with some tips and tricks for both sides.

This may be especially useful for people who learn better through visual aid than reading aids. In fact, research suggests 65% of people learn better through visual aids. Again, this is not to say BHVR have done anything wrong, but a guide like this may make newer players more confident and help to retain those who come in but leave because of frustrations arising from their own ability early on.

I think bHVR has outsourced that part to the Community, but most selfmade Youtube stars are not that good. Its hit or miss, you have to watch a 24min video and then you figure out the advice is superficial its just worthless and it makes you feel bad about doing it again.

Ofc the only solution would be to do it properly myself, but its takes a lot of to do tutorials properly.

I'm thinking it would mainly be about basic mindgames and the rewards of being proactive, plus concerns of solo players and how to work better without swf. That sort of thing. They may have outsourced it, but nothing wrong with them sticking a video or 2 about tips in the game itself, so people can go straight to an official source for ideas.
