Insta down event thing

Just don't ever bring that back. I know it's not the strongest, the pallet breaking is stronger. But please it's so boring and on top of giving the killer bloodlust also rewarding them with an insta down.

It removes taking tactical bodyblocks with the bloodlust carrying over and killers just start bloodlusting around every pallet to get the insta down. So you have to stand still and hope the chase ends, instead of actually playing mindgames around the dropped pallet.

Exposed on Bloodlust does seem like the most OP part of the event. It should probably have only been available at Bloodlust Tier 3.

Or they should have just kept the effects to pallets and windows. Instead of Exposed, have the ability to block a window for survivors like survivors do for the killer. This could still easily guarantee a hit.

I appreciate all of the free anniversary stuff, so I'm willing to put up with the dumb Invitation effects... but yeah, I agree. I can't wait until the game goes back to normal.

Unironically and non-spiteful, I vividly remember feeling the same one day into the first snowman event :D

Ok… if they are trying to bloodlust you for the exposed down, just STOP running and force the M1. They will not get bloodlust if you stop running.

Am I the only one that loves the event for both sides? Yes it favors killers. But it's not like insta-loose, so not a big deal

it looks pretty balanced to me. I could see it becoming a killer perk in future. the pallet break thing is crazy strong. I think this should be knight's power and nobody else should ever be using that power. it is way too strong when combined with other killer powers.

I just wish survivors got better event triggers. Killers could remotely smash pallet and force downs, survivors got a pallet that was closer to a freddy dream pallet than an actual pallet and a window blocker which does nothing on 90% of the loops. If the pallets had stayed up for just 3 seconds once dropped they'd actually have been good.

All in all though, I think some way of making stakes higher as a chase goes on for both sides could be a pretty good refresher for the game, when done correctly.

i think pallets and pallet breaking can be kinda funny. but window blocking and insta down is lame.

and having this event-limited is fine but pls dont bring anything like that as perks.

what if window vault that blocked vaults allowed you to fast vault in any direction? For example you press it and next 5 seconds, you can fast vault in any direction when running then block the vault. that would make it universally more useful.

Last sentence of my original post... "So you have to stand still and hope the chase ends, instead of actually playing mindgames around the dropped pallet."

I don't mind it being event stuff, since it's temporarily. But I just don't want to see this come back as a permanent feature. Bloodlust with exposed on top creates awkward situations when bloodlust carries over or when you have to stand still to give a hit because the killer is trying to get bloodlust just to insta down you. So instead of playing mindgames around a dropped unsafe pallet you have to stand still and take a hit. Kinda lame

I understand you feelings. However you have more options. You can try to stun the killer, or drop a single good pallet (part of planning) that killer can't bloodlust.

But I do agree - it's fun as event. I also don't want it as a permanent feature (but I would be fine if the event returned again in the future)
