does turning off crossplay even work?

yes i know it says turning it off increases matchmaking, but if it did that wouldnt it just ben lengthening the duration of Looking For A Match? its literally just stuck on the Match Found thing. is it supposed to work this way?

it also gave me an error message saying "Match process failed."
