Idea to remove 3 gen and give survivors another objective
Increase the number of gens on the map from 7 to 9. These 2 gens would be considered 'broken' with parts missing and players cannot interact with them normally. Survivors have to find parts around the map to rebuild the gens. Once rebuilt it can be interactive with like any other gen.
- There always be an odd number of parts on the map. Let's say 7.
- There's only enough parts to rebuild 1 gen. 4 parts are needed to repair 1 of the 2 gens, best of 7, best of w/e odd number.
- The 2 broken gens always spawn far from each other.
- Ideal to rebuild the gen late in game than early. Best to pick the 1 gen away from the 3 gen set-up that the killer refusing to leave from.
- Gives the survivors another objective to do and gain more objective points since it hasn't changed once since the games released.

Until camping and tunneling are addressed in a serious way, there is probably zero chance of additional side objectives being introduced. Unless multiple people are running reassurance, it is very easy to camp someone out of the game early. Now add time wasting side objectives in and you can kiss your chances of escaping goodbye.

I'd have concerns about where the parts are located and how much of an issue it would be to backtrack in order to bring them to the broken gens. It sounds like a nice idea on paper, if Survivors had a little bit more leeway in terms of everyone living to that point, but scenarios where the killer gets an early lead those last 2 broken gens to fix would feel more like a nuisance.
It is a problem? Skull Merchant's kit is just one of the most effective at the strat.

Any 3 gen can be broken against a non SM killer, excluding map specific examples. A 3gen on a map like macmillan or coldwind will get broken without extending the match by 20 minutes. Solos can do it, sitting on gens isnt hard.

I can lock it with other killers, where most teams will not be able to break it. Difference is other killers are more likely to actually end the game.
Skully will lose, if she commits.
Game Hens showed took so long simply because they didn't prepare and were testing strategies. Also played by tournament rules and didn't duplicate perks...
They would end second game under 20 minutes. It was kinda funny to see panicking play from that Skull merchant when they figured out to just play injured and focus all gens. There is not much she can do about it.
I had so far only one team doing that, most survivors are not confident staying injured for some reason.
