Sudden Game Crashes

Hello, everyone.

Has anyone had their game crashed during today's new update? I can confirm the problem does not reside in my PC. As far as I can remember, the crashes happened upon hooking survivors. It did not occur consecutively, but it has proved to be recurrent. It has crashed 3 times so far.

I have thought about server pressure, which I felt upon joining a game and being immediately canceled because of some host issues. However, the problem is not DC itself, but a game crash instead.

More information: I was playing The Cenobite and it ocurred in maps such as Mount Ormond and Yamaoka Estate.

If anyone is having the same issue as I, I would like to hear your feedback. Thank you and have a good day.

    Yes, as I mention in a thread, ppl DC without a reason in every match I played so far.

    Also was playing Cenobite, two times in a row game crashed (1 time on first hook), guess I won't play the game until they fix it.

    Same. I crashed twice as Pinhead, both times upon hooking the Obsession.

    I'm having the exact same problem. I have not played Killer in 4 years. Today I bought the Cenobite because he looks fun. Game crashes just as I'm about to hook someone ( I thought that it was a Nicholas Cage problem / server load problem but it happens with any character ).

    My game penalty started at 3 minutes and now I have to wait 12 minutes. This is egregious... I mean... how can you give me a penalty when the crash log comes up and I fill it in... ######### already?

    don't worry.. it is a technical issue.. Half of the community is having technical issues :)

    I am low key convinced they put randomizer in for ppl to crash to test new bots

    I should note, in that above post I made, I was playing Pinhead too. It's happened 3 times, and I've changed nothing on my end. It only started after this patch.

    I can't enter in the game either, but is a technical issue, all of us have that. 😉
