PS4 - Bot got stuck behind exit gates

We had a leaver early on in the game - we were playing agains a Pyramid Head and a player got caged, a bot replaced them whilst they were in the cage after they left. Later on the events in the video below happened.
Not sure how it can be repeoduced, it was the first time this happened to us.
