BUG PC Forced DC when controller disconnects

When playing on PC (Windows 10) steam, xbox controller

With an xbox one controller, and wireless adaptor, (all software UTD) when the batteries die, or the connection is interrupted, DC's me (the player) from a public match as a survivor. Even with mouse and keyboard, still DC's. This has occurred a few times, and only in the last few updates, before that I could scramble to safety with mouse and keyboard, then swap batteries. There is also a MASSIVE lag spike when this happens that my duo had noticed.

Step 1 : Boot the game

Step 2 : Play as Survivor in a public match, with a controller, and a wireless adaptor

Step 3 : In-game, disconnect the controller (my batteries always die, but I would bet any disconnect of the controller would cause it)

Step 4 : Notice the game disconnects the player after the controller dies, and the lag spike.

  • Frequency of the issue: Everytime the battery dies (has happened 4 times now)
