Hook screams and actual hook state

Hello,
knowing when a survivor will be hooked and stop working on the gen to prevent scourge hook: pain resonance and dead man's switch is the only way to counter it.
As soon as the hooked survivor screams the effects trigger, even if the hooking state hasn't been initiated yet.
This is extremely irritating.
I would be grateful if this change is reverted. I'm not even sure if this is intentional?
