About DC penalties

No, this is not another plea to remove DC penalties. The devs have already made their stance clear on the matter, and that's fine. I understand them wanting to discourage willy nilly DC's. But I believe the problem lies with the stacking. There needs to be a cap on it. There's no reason to allow the DC penalties to stack to the point where you have to wait literal DAYS to queue into a match. I believe this is the reason people prefer to throw on hook rather than DC (and if I'm wrong, I would welcome additional input on it). I would say cap it at an hour. That should be more than enough time for ragequitters to calm down or decide that they're done playing for the day, and for people with connection issues to fix said issues, or wait for the connection to stabilize. It should let people be more willing to take the penalty instead of trying to dodge it.

True. Although I'd rather not have the DC bots, as they screw over the Survivors just as much, but that would have to be a separate thread entirely.

Just saying... with the bots, most survivors would prefer that a suicidal teammate DC's, rather than kills themselves on hook. So, as long as bots are here... they should revisit the DC penalty discussion... they should be encouraging people to DC, rather than kill themselves on hook, now. So, they SHOULD remove the DC penalty.... for survivors. I think the bots are just for survivors... so if true, when/if Killer bots become a thing implemented, then the DC penalty should be removed from killers, as well.

The root of the problem, is too many people are queueing up to not play games out. The game would be much better off if people knew how to take breaks.

This and without MFT and no de-pipping for a bad match, while de-pipping for DCs remains.

DC penalties punish players trying to cope with uneven match making, camping, tunneling, baiting, bully squads, etc. Why not let players move on to another match if they aren't having fun?
