PC - Mini-Freezes as soon a effect triggers

As soon as an effect triggers in a match, my screen freezes for a second.
For example i am running into a boon, as soon as i am entering the boon, the symbols of the boon appears, making my game freeze.
Or i am using dead hard within the chase. The appearance of the exhaustion causes my game to freeze for a second and then continues. It just happens the first time in several matches.
These freezes just happen when i am playing Survivor.
