Summer event level 2 impossible to progress

Both the repair 3 summer generators and hook 10 survivors on BBQ hooks are impossible to complete practically locking me out of the rest of the rewards for the event.
No idea if it's just me or everyone, but seems to be just me as I've seen people using the full skins.
This always happens, I have two videos both from killer side of things showing a match with several hooks and going back to the tome to find no progress. I don't have the motivation to play more survivor today to show off from that side but basically the same thing occurs.

On Xbox One, I have issues with Tome/Event challenges not tracking properly. When that happens, I restart the game to reconnect to the game's servers and it tracks normally from there (for who knows how long).
I still lost the progress I made and I have to do it over again, but at least it tracks it properly and lets me complete the challenges.

Had similar problems earlier today (PS5) with the BBQ unhook challenge, I unhooked 2 survivors in the first game (It showed up on the challenge) then one in the second and it showed the challenge as complete but then after it said I had only done one total in the event tome after the match.
Just did three in the following match which worked but not ideal..
