PC - Clown bottle bug

Playing Clown on PC, trying to do the summer event tome.
Agitation/Coup de Grace/Mad Grit/StBfL with Sulfuric Acid vial and Ether 15 Vol%. Went to one of the many terrible Coldwind maps.
Chucked a yellow bottle, then switched bottle type while it was in midair, and it cracked open purple. Given this, exactly what you'd expect happens the other way around - midair purple bottle switches to a yellow.
In testing this further, I had a weird occurrence where I shattered a bottle on a tree and switched as the gas was spreading, and it changed color, as well, but I was not able to reproduce this.
Yeah, that's about it.
