Email not receiving passcode reset email

Whenever I put in my email to the forgot passcode page, it recognises that my email is in use by sending me to the next page to put in the code but I do not receive a code in my inbox. I have checked my trash and spam and filters, and I have tried resending the code but it doesn’t seem to help.
