Why are characters and DLCs banned in Russia?

The Russian people, especially the ones playing DBD at the comfort of their home, have absolutely nothing to do with the war. I understand the purpose of sanctions to weaken a country, but what is the point of banning purchases for individuals playing video games (essentially this has no effect on the war)?

    Did you mean, that their are deadswitch ? or just they don't appear in your game ?

    Their are an current bug like this right now who affect ps5 and steam
