There should be more perks and add-ons that cause exhaustion

Title.

All the contorversy surrounding Made for This has brought my attention to the fact that there's not actually a whole lot of counterplay to exhaustion perks, and perks like Made for This that are only countered by exhaustion.

With that in mind, I'd like to see every killer have at least one add-on that causes exhaustion. There should also be more perks that inflict exhaustion without tying it into being on a generator (Fearmonger) or hooking a survivor (Blood Echo).

I think it would create more build diversity to have perks that are strong, but also easily counterable. Something like how Sloppy Butcher inflicts hemmorhage and mangled on a successful basic attack would be hugely beneficial to M1 killers.

Make a perk that exhaust survivor on basic attack hit.

Like 10 seconds would be probably enough.

You can add some random secondary effect and behold meta killer perk.

I think main issue is killers don't need strong perks to be sold (DLC), survivor does.

That's probably why there is no good gen regression/slowdown perk in last 5 chapters or so. Best killers can get are information perks.

I agree with you. Killer generally doesn't need strong perks to sell, provided their power is strong, but SM and Singularity didn't quite hit the mark in terms of having what I would consider strong powers. Their perks also don't really seem too great either.

I've skipped Singularity and SM because their powers are too gimmicky and because their perks are fairly weak/niche.

Many of the existing options are also just too weak and aren’t worth using. Fearmonger is in a good spot, but Blood Echo is typically only good on certain killers, Genetic Limits is too unreliable and you don’t even know who is exhausted from it a lot of the time (could be the person who healed themselves or someone else who healed them, you don’t know unless you see it or can deduce it from game sense), and Septic Touch is literally one of the worst perks in the game that no one uses.

They could add new perks that provide more options in this regard, but it would also help if they improved some of the existing ones.
