I'm tired boss

Im tired seeing nothing but nurses, ranged and high mobility killers instead of M1s. And the one that ive come across so far has been stomped since my team all had Made For This. Hell even I who enjoys M1 killers now and then get stomped since everyone runs MFT.

My suggestions:

Remove the MFT speed bonus, the endurance itself is already strong enough

Fail safe that prevents getting the same killer over and over. You know, the same system that already works for maps? You would think MMR fixes this killer variety problem? Not for me.

"I'm tired to see nurses, ranged and high mobility killers" -> remove MFT. Legit thought process.

How about nerfing mobility killers instead? How does that sound? How about the nurse getting reworked since it completely ignores the game mechanics (instead of adding additional blinks)? How about removing alchemist's ring and addons that increase speed for blight?(how come the blight need speed addons when it runs iirc at 9 m/s?) and in addition limiting the rushes to 3/4. How about giving an exhaustion to m2 killers, who can hold m2 power endlessly nullyfing mindgames at a dropped pallet or windows, without being punished (pyramid, deathslinger etc..)?

I think these changes are healthy for the game since it restrict a bit the gap between let's say a blight and a pig and we'll se a wider variety of killers without the needs of a system that would be nth band-aid fix

Agreed. Another change would be nice, maybe more killer or perk rework like they did in the past? Or a addon-pass for certain killers, the possibilies are endless. Ik its hard though, to please both sides.

Or just maybe stop optimizing the fun out of the game haha. Then again im not telling you how you should play the game, you do you.

Lets hope for some changes in the midchapter. I dont think we will see gameplay-changes before midchapter.

I disagree, all we need to do is Buff every "slow" and m1 killers to be on par with the likes Nurse, Blight, etc. So they at least stand out. It can be as simple as applying basekit slowdown into their power or implementing temporary movement speed increase everytime they successfully used their power efficiency.

Perfect example: Buff Trapper's traps so that every single time the killer is successfully traps a Survivor as well as everyime the traps get disarm; the killer gets a temporary movement speed increase. Getting successfully trapped will increase the 5% movement speed duration for longer duration then if survivors constant harass the traps. Same can be said, for applying a basekit slowdown, like if a injured survivor survivors gets caught in a trap and escape on their own; they will get punished for it (as currently, there is no penalty to stepping in traps while injured), like applying deep wounds or make the Survivor broken/exhausted and cannot be heal or dead hard.

Not every killer needs nerfs, some just need massive Rework and necessary buffs to compensate for the "slow" normal speed especially agaisnt that no how to Hold W effectively.

Exactly, Nerfing Strong Killer's significantly is not going to fix the problems that most killer already face, which is Survivors can completely there objective faster, can do things faster and instantly, and if so, there not much penalties to warrant their huge strengths.

Perfect example: It takes a killer 2.5 seconds of their time, to start regressing a generator vs. for the one of the 4 survivors to literally tap a button on the generator to make it completely stop the regression completely.

Keep in mind, the biggest weakness all killer needs to deal with and face, is TIME EFFICIENCY and can only chase one survivor at a time. The time you spend chasing one survivor, the other three are doing productive things like fixing Generators mostly, going for rescue when the opportunity is presented and necessary, Healing, and cleansing hex totems if necessary. There is a reason why, most killer prefer to camp and tunnel one poor survivor at the game; it is because it is the most efficient and fastest way to secure a kill, and it makes time management much easier when there is one or more survivors already dead before enough gens is completed. Going for multiple hooks, instead of kills; is bad strategy when you want to win a 4k effectively. Most of the top tier killers when played right, is very effective at spreading damages across the Survivors team, because of their speed, map pressure, and ability to be unpredictable/lethality and kill survivor faster and not waste too much time in chase.

The rest of the killer rooster is not fast and good enough, so they absolutely need buffs to make them be nearly same level of strange like the top tiers. Simple implementation of movement speed to their kits, as well as passive gen slowdown into their kits, without the need of perks; will help in the long run.

It's important to identify the root cause of *why* people are gravitating to stronger killers.

And the answer is very simple, current survivor meta is so unhealthy that the only way for killer players to compete is by playing the strongest killers.

Alot of casual killer players have either stopped playing or swapped to survivor because of this MFT+resi+WOO meta allowing survivors to *look* like they are good without being good. Now you're stuck playing with "competitive" killer mains.

    ---

Also a "killer repeat prevention" would mean you'd be stuck in queue for over an hour considering the bp bonus is on killer 99% of the time.

Nuke the current meta and casual killers would come back to playing ghostface, pig, myers etc since it wouldn't equate to self sabotage.

How about we leave killers that don't need to nerfed the ######### alone? That would be a good starting point. Aside from nurse and some of blights add-ons, none of the ranged or mobility killers need a nerf. If you're going to nerf balanced killers like that you would have to nerf survivors again, and no one wants that
