I've played 6 games against the new killer with distortions on me. However every time after opening a locker by the killer I got found almost immediately even when I am a decent distant away. I know I scream but it really looks like they can read my aura by their decision making

When you scream there is still a scream bubble that the killer can see which shows your exact location at that moment. Distortion does nothing against this perk as it is not an aura reveal. It is not a bug.
