Hook designs should remain tied to the map, not the killer
Whenever playing as or against the Xenomorph the hook designs get replaced with the ones for the Nostromo Wreckage map. At first I thought this was just a strange bug, but unfortunately it's an intentional feature of this killer.
I find it quite jarring, both because this a anomaly amongst killers as a whole but mostly because the hooks don't fit at all for most maps. I know this is just a small thing, but I really hope that the Xenomorph didn't have this feature at all, or at least that this feature wouldn't be implemented for upcoming new killers.

counterpoint.
hooks being tied to the killer is much cooler and the others should also get it.

I agree, custom hooks for the Killers!

I prefer the map to have hooks tied to the map, it just looks bad to have the environment clash to much.

A lot of people like to be surprised by who the killer is, and having killer-tied hooks would spoil that surprise.
Then again, with more and more killers getting their unique terror radius, it's getting easier to tell who the killer is anyway...

Do we even know if it’s intended? Could be a bug or something

It's listed in the patch notes, so it's either intended or a bug they weren't able to fix.

The silly thing is Xenomorph has tunnels and control stations which give it away anyway.

Yeah, not really a balance issue in this case, although it could be if the feature is implemented for future stealth killers.

I feel like Xenomorph is an exception here due to a license agreement. Though it also doesn't really matter too much for Xenomorph because survivors will see the control centers before the killer anyways.

Literally doesn't matter survivors can see the control cents and xeno has map wide sound cues

Demogorgon should be the only exception who gets to bring Hawkins hooks with him into other maps just so we get to see those hooks again, otherwise i'd say keep hooks map tied.
