Dramaturgy is completely bugged

I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but when I use Dramaturgy and it gives me an item, I cannot heal anyone as long as I hold that item. I have to drop it, heal and then pick it up again. This has happened multiple times already.

1. I played as Laurie on Midwitch and the above problem occured
2. I played as Cage on the Chapel Map and couldn't heal at all. Only later I was able to heal someone who was downed

I found a recording of it, seems that one time was with Cage on RPD. I muted the video because Nvidia also recorded my Youtube session, which is completely irrelevant here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jX96tMgiiqE
