I hooked survivors many times in the basement but progress didn't move.

    Same here, just hooked people 7 times in the basement, didn't even get one.

    From being on a high in doing it, to flat on my face for game not recognising it, Grrrr.

    Same thing is happening with me. I need one more hook in basement and I have hooked 4 survivors across 4 games in basement and still haven't got credit for it.
