How are survivors supposed to counter Xenomorph's tail attack?

Not only the flamethrowers do little to nothing but the tail miss cooldown is ridiculously short, not to mention the massive hitbox that is more than generous in so many occasions to the point where there's little to no counter play to his power. It's either hold W, potentially have the tail attack miss you (If you're super lucky) and then get hit with a basic attack anyway because the miss cooldown is just ridiculously short, or drop a pallet and immediately get hit. There's nothing more frustrating and boring than having to deal with the same bullshit back to back and then being told that this killer's power isn't busted.

Afaik, xeno taił attack is like a spear throw forward, so unless alien targeted ground under You, You should be safe while crouching in exact moment.

    I can be wrong tho.

A spear you can control during and with some limitation after it's been thrown.

From what I experienced so far, find best loops in game, prethrow when u have insane distance or hope xeno is bad. Those are your only options

I'd honestly take a Killer that is super hard to counter within a 4.8m range and can be taken out of its power sometimes rather than a Killer that can be 20m away from me, go through 2 walls and hit me before I can react.

There's already countless videos of people steamrolling Xenos in SoloQ, she's very dangerous in chase but is still bound by the environment and can't hurt you from across the map.

When they fix the movement speed bug after tail attacks and reduce the miss cooldown movement speed to like 1.3-1.5 instead of 2.0 then she'll be fine. She does indeed have a movement speed that's just a tad too high after tail attacks (the cooldown is already 3 seconds it's just the speed that needs a slight tweaking).
