Overcharge skill check drops pallets

Had a match today where I tapped a gen to prevent it from regressing and overcharge triggered. I didn't hit the check (unsure if this effected it) but it happened as i was running through shack pallet, and hitting the skillcheck dropped the pallet. Not sure if this is intended or not, but figured I'd drop my concerns here.
For context in case it's important:
Knight; sloppy, coup, overcharge, eruption (Iri company banner and dried horsemeat)
Me (sheva): Flash bang, lucky star, head on, quick and quiet
doubt any of that matters but idk how it works so info is info i guess
