Tome Challenge Bugs: Basement Hooks + Deplete Med-Kit

Hi, playing on PC and I noticed two bugged tome challenges - "Buried Underground" (hook 6 survivors in the basement) and "Appeal to Heal" (fully deplete two med-kits). I have completed the requirements for each of these challenges multiple times, however it is not registering any progress (ex. not registering that I have depleted even 1 med-kit). I have tried to de-select/re-select these challenges, complete other challenges, etc. but nothing I have tried has fixed this bug.
Has anyone else experienced this/has anyone found a work-around? Thanks
