Nemesis Vaccine Bug

I am unable to use a vaccine against The Nemesis. When I attempt to use the vaccine, the progress bar never fills up. What I did when this bug occurred was grab a med-kit out of a chest while I was holding both a med-kit already and a vaccine. I am not sure if it's what caused the bug but worth noting. I am also still unable to use the vaccine even after dropping all items and picking the vaccine back up.
