Easy Anti-Cheat Error

I'm on a PC. Every time I enter a game lobby I immediately get kicked and get this error. "You have been kicked from the server because of a failure to validate your account through Easy Anti-Cheat (error code 1)." I've tried manually uninstalling and then reinstalling both the game and easy anti-cheat with no results. I'm able to open the game and pick items and all that, it's only when I'm about to load into a game lobby that it happens.
