Xeno´s tail hits broken?

i´ve seen lots of comments saying that the xeno tail is worse than before, it doest not hit even if the tail goes trough the entire survivor body. So, i tried myself and its kind of true. I can´t do cool stuff anymore. the tail feels very weird now. I dunno if devs know about this
