Looping bots feels rigged.

I usually love looping as killer. Chasing a survivor and trying to outplay a particularly good one feels fun . Meanwhile the dead brain bots either are completely brain dead or they are the perfect looping specimen. I have had several chases against "Elite" bots. And while I was eventually able to down them its just feel like an empty victory.

They hug the loop perfectly they can (very obviously might I add) track you through walls or high loops and can even track you when undetectable. Basically you just have to eat the pallet or chase enough so the entity blocks the window. If it was an actual survivor I wouldn't be bothered . But facing a personality lacking void just feels boring. And often you have to down them because they don't really do anything other than gens and unhooks.

No mind games . No hiding red stain or changing the pattern. Just run in a circle until the bot is forced to leave. Very boring.

Meanwhile other times the bot just stands in a corner all games or runs into a wall. It either all or nothing and feels boring for both sides.

I've actually found bots can be quite predictable with standard loops, notably shack. You can actually deliberately time them so they vault at the same time you turn back to give you a huge distance gain.

You can also force pallets out of them pretty well on a lot of really strong loops, which can help a lot long term.

That said until you work out that timing, or are on an atypical loop, yes, they are a huge pain.

"If it was an actual survivor, I wouldn't be bothered."

I am bothered, because actual survivors play like psychic bots all the time. Knowing where you are at all times, repositioning themselves perfectly at all times, even when you're undetectable.

The bots can really go either way. Either they act super weird or they run perfectly. I chased this one Claudette Bot all around a four-lane tile, which is actually hard to play, and she was just always exactly where she needed to be, even getting fast-vaults on the window.

I know they don't have killer bots yet but if or when they do, it would be really interesting if they just ran 5-bot matches and tested what happens when everyone plays "perfectly." I would be curious to find out.

They will outclass you at any Z wall.
