Cannot get rid of Crows from Artist

I'm on ps4 and around a year ago I had rebound my buttons including the actions and pick up actions (I don't know which one gets rid of the crows). Since then whenever I face an artist then I feel like I somewhat have to dc just because she just can't be countered by me unless I have a locker nearby which even then in chase I cannot use. The steps to reproduce this should be fairly straight forward because all you have to do is rebind the keys ( the pick up item interactions is the right button on the directional buttons and the actions are the triangle) and then have artist fire a crow at you from a distance and see if you can repel them. This thankfully does not occur often because I don't play a whole bunch of survivor, although it has happened at least 5 times before.
