My 2 takes on a 3Gen Stalemate Solution
I think a solution to this stalemate is going to be that Killer's kick diminishes in impact over times used and after a while does nothing and after a while then the entity just blocks the Killer from kicking the gens.
This effect will individually stack on the three gens over time solving the 3gen stalemate after a small amount of time, this means the Killer cant do it forever. With such a system we can start discussing how long a 3Gen should be allowed to happen before.
However the way of doing it this way suggests that the Killer's power goes away, which seems weak and frail. What could be done instead would be if a Generators if kicked X amount of times, it explodes and another new gen spawns the furthest away from other gens as possible. witch such a system would be able as well to discuss how many kicks a 3Gen situation would take before the generator being kicked should just blow up and a replacement Gen added by the Entity on the other side of the map.
It would be super great if bHVR would implement any of these, but i mostly want the second one, to combat the 3gen strategies that can be done with ALL Killers, it would really refine the game into a more pleasant place for the Survivors and then we can buff Killers accordingly if they are found lacking with 3Gen Stalemate Prevention.

If you nerf 3-gen in any way, you better buff early game too.

No, 3 genning is not a problem. Only a few very specific maps have remotely unfair gen placement. Leri's, dead dawg, and midwich for nurse/blight. Anything else is a skill/soloQ issue.

RPD?

Yeah RPD too, I tend too forget that 3 gen :P

I think regular players would disagree, this game is also made for regular people without too much skill.
So preventing the Killer for making forever games, would be a good rule to have in the background, even tho it does not happen often.

I think 10 minutes should be long enough holding any 3gen (it should be long enough to finish whole game in that time). The question is, what is the time when you should start to time 3gen camping? This could be problematic as 10 minutes in game is just not enough. Another thing is, that this can be abused - "just let killer start to camp 3gen and let's go hang out on the other side of map for 10 mins for easy game".
For these reason maybe make it killer can kick any gen 10x should be enough? If we are generous do not count 1st kick after hook (to always allow applying POP). That should do the trick. 10 kicks is quite a generous number and in most games killer will not kick same gen more then 2-3 times and chances are all of those 2-3 times will be to apply only pop anyway.
Spawning new gen on the other side seems to be too cruel. Like having loose 3gen is absolutely playable. Having gens on the other side of map is gg for killer and free win for survivor (killer just got time for 1 last chase and then it's "guaranteed" endgame). I don't like that option that much.

No. Please don't do this.
When I have fun as a survivor it usually involves approaching that one static problem gen on a 3 gen tending map and figuring out how to get rid of it.

You can still do that, but the question with the such a system how long do you and the killer have to play tug of war before it should stop, if the Killer is 3 genning from the start.

You’re 1 in a million mate. Never ever have I seen anybody kicking their feet excited for having to be playing chess in Dead By Daylight for 40 minutes, especially as a solo (majority of players). If you like that, don’t worry… Add me and we will have the craziest fun custom games for you. I offer myself as the killer :)

The opposite of survivors without too much skill is always a skilled and experienced killer.
I get tired of this example every time.

That is whataboutism however, but I agree if Survivors hang around and do nothing, the Crow alert system needs to be re-evaluated.
If we are willing to clean the Killer house, the Survivors also need to clean theirs 100%

It gives something to do in the match related to the game as a whole. Its also not every match as many killers seem to ignore gen spawn grouping.
Even without communication most people get that on certain maps a tiny 3 gen will form, and if the killer applies the gen defense concept you don't lose when he hits you, you lost when you started because you made the map a tiny 3 gen for him.
Its a challenge its something to do, if you push him hard, you'll likely die and the game won't take 40 minutes. Try again, do your best to avoid the formation of the situation.
I find it a fun playstyle, Its also not that common of an approach, way less than 50% of my games feature a heavy area lock down.
