Survivors are frustrated
Camping, tunneling, slugging, and gen defense are all things survivors have repeatedly stated need to be addressed.
So when all of these things become regulated and restricted, where to do you think the devs core focus for changes will be directed?
When chase is the only meaningful event that killers can perform and in need of improvement, how will chases be impacted?
Going forward, what will killer powers focus on to aid them in their only option?
If killers cant do the things you hate, what will happen to the thing you enjoy?

Devs seem very reactionary. Skull Merchant’s power should have been shut down immediately in the concept stage. Now we are left with this mess.
I do not even think they know the plans in regard to balance. Will the Killer population nosedive as the Survivor Rule Book? Remains to be seen. If it does and more importantly, it results in Survivor dissatisfaction with queue times, I expect changes to be made in the Killers favor. If this is not an issue, I expect Survivor complaints to continue to be accommodated.

3 gen appears to be next. I expect slugging to increase, so they will move to that.
They won’t be satisfied until they get weapons that one shot the Killer. Then they can tbag the downed Killer until they decide to finish the gens and leave. Killer has to stay the whole time or take a significant dc penalty.
The more I think about it the less I think that would satisfy them.

You can still "proxy" camp, tunnel, slug and defend 3 gen right now, it's just babbling honestly, only thing "adressed" is boring facecamp and they already nerfed it from PTB, 7 seconds grace period means you'll probably never unhook yourself before second stage
reassurance was also hard nerfed immediatly after PTB , can you see the pattern ? stop being overly dramatic

The point is not unhook yourself, it’s so Killers don’t camp with the consequence of the Survivor unhooking themselves if they do camp.

If Reassurance didn't get hard nerfed there would be situations where trolling survivors would troll their teammates

Even if it didn't get nerfed after the ptb, there's no way the ptb version would be allowed to exist with the anti-facecamping system coming this midchapter. It would basically guarantee survivors can force free deliverances ignoring the fact that it was overtuned on the ptb.
Reassurance even got a buff with the new system, because having the hook timer paused doesn't pause the build up the bar so it's even better at dealing with camping.

IDK. I don't expect any problems with killer players. Incentives are on survivors even during prime time now. That's the direct result of all the changes and "map reworks" and everything else.

We are losing a situation which encourages teamwork, requires enviromental awarness and analysis, tactical advantages and drawbacks, and a heavier sense of consequence than a single hook state for mistakes leading to the hook.
I see this as more of a loss for my survivor games than one for killers that use the tactic.
