Seeing teammates perks on HUD?

Is this something that could be worked into the game at some point? Would be a small boost to solo players seeing what perk opportunities your teammates have.

Make it easier to dodge teammates with crap builds.

How about when you press Alt, a wheel with your 4 perks comes up. Then you select a perk, and that perks icon is shown next to your portrait for 5 seconds or so.

That way you can communicate important perks when needed, instead of showing all perks in lobby or Esc screen.

I think it would be better, if you could see them in the menu. Just so, that the HUD doesn't become too cluttered.

    I don't know...

Certain challenges and achievements require using bad/very niche perks and this could easily lead to dodges or negligence mid-game.

Sole Survivor (or any perk working on others being in bad shapes) would get targeted/sandbagged/left on hook.

People would harrass their teammates for not running meta perks all the time.

Would absolutely love this. It'd allow for perk synergies across teammates, and prevent too much Kindred or Open Handed. Not to mention make Camaraderie actually exist in solo matches.

Rather not, could incorage people to dodge games when someone had a build they don't like or weird as hell because of a tome challenge. Even if the perk did showed up somewhere on the HUD I don't even remember what the majority of them even do so it's just cluster.

So long as they implement a role cooldown for dodging too many lobbies in a row. (To address players shopping for players with Perks they want/dodging those they think are bringing stupid stuff, and to address Killers window shopping survivors based on outfits/items) Assuming you mean also showing the Perks in the lobby too.

In-game an easy implementation might be to just add Perk breakdowns into the pause menu.

My point was aimed at helping solo players for example, not having to run to the other side of the map to revive if they knew there teammate had Adrenaline or Unbreakable for example. I wouldn't need survivors teabagging and pointing at lockers whilst im using inner healing + flashbangs. I wouldn't break a totem if I knew they had COH etc etc

The perk icons would be very small indeed, but big enough to be distinguished.
