Ps4- control issues

on ps4 the controls L1, and turning to the left and right, with the left stick, seem to bug out and not register (or they register off and on and end up running for a few seconds stopping and then running again) it’s as if i let go of the controls but i am not.
I’ve bought multiple controllers to see if it’s a controller issue and it definitely isn’t it happens on every controller i have, and this doesn’t happen on other games.
This happens in nearly every game i have had sense the skull merchant update, before that it would happen every other match.
