PC - Pinhead power bugs after picking up the box from the ground

When picking up the lament configuration from the ground, Pinhead loses the ability to use his M2 and his teleport until the end of the match. This does not happen if he activates the lament configuration by downing a survivor carrying it. Perks/map do not seem to matter, either.
Steps are simply play as pinhead and pick up/activate the lament configuration from the ground.
