Septic Touch Rework?
Septic Touch is a barely used perk, and is in dire need of a rework or buff. I have a suggestion for a potential rework that could be cool:
Septic Touch
The Land of the Shadows subsumes all. Healing only delays the inevitable.
Survivors that are Healing, or being Healed, suffer from the Oblivious and Blindness Status Effects.
These effects linger for 6/8/10 seconds after the Healing action ends.
The idea is that it would allow healing survivors to be caught off guard by making them unable to hear the Terror Radius or read the Aura of the killer. Survivors would have to be a lot more careful about where they choose to heal otherwise they might risk being ambushed by the killer.
With this change, you could also buff Genetic Limits (another very underused perk) to apply Exhaustion to both the Healing and Healed Survivors.

Septic Touch is one of those perks that only seems good if you have nurses calling or you go back to the hook often.

Yeah it's super reliant on other perks, and even then, it just isn't good at all. There's a very good reason you never see it.

The effects of the perk are fine, with Exhaustion potentially being great on stealth killers that interrupt heals.
The problem is the terror radius condition. There's pretty much no niche it can fit into except slugging Nurse's that can disable MFT Endurance (and loses to Buckle Up)

I don't know. Even without a Terror Radius requirement, the chances of interrupting a heal are a lot less than interrupting Generator repairs. It would only be marginally more useful on a handful of killers anyway.
Fearmonger will always be leagues more useful, as it applies Exhaustion more often and in a more useful context.

it seems the idea is to nurse calling+septic touch. that does make more sense considering dredge is stealth killer but he is only stealth killer half the time. your perk sounds like pre-nerfed version of the perk. I would not be surprised if septic touch was oblivious+exhausted instead of blindness+exhausted. I can imagine that a lot of killer perks just get slam nerfed pre-launch to be useless just like current version.

There is too much perks overall, and thus lot of perks will be just bad, or barely used. Devs shoud do total overhaul of perks, and create only one perk per character, with more unique effects.

no I am saying that i would not be surprised if original septic touch design before PTB of dredge involved oblivious and was changed as result of being "too oppressive". your version of the perk makes so much more sense then current version of that perk.
