The Dredge bug!

I'm having an issue where every time I play against others and the killer is The Dredge, the game lags and all players are disconnected from the match. This has happened several times and only with this killer. The very last time I got a DC penalty. Is there any way to kill switch him until this is fixed?

It's probably connected to the bug where dredge doesn't see nightfall progress. At least there's abreadcrumb trail for devs to follow.
