The collision mesh of certain objects (likely mostly those found on older maps) do not conform to the visual mesh of the object and will cause Xeno's tail to collide when it visually shouldn't. Causing immense frustration. I'd imagine this also applies to other killers too.
Video below showcases recent example I ran into, the car found on Badham compared to the cars found on the new Lampkin lane map. The cars found on Lampkin are actually bigger than the one found on Badham but still allow the tail attack to pass over them.
