Is Deathslinger the slowest killer in the game?

I find Deathslinger to be a fun kit but weak to the point of being frustrating.

Mainly, chase is fun but so much time is lost trying to exert map pressure. Deathslinger is a 1.1 killer where every aspect of his kit slows him down further. Whether you hit or miss a survivor with an m2 your speed is slowed, when you reload you are slowed and when you aim you are slowed. The fixed range on the m2 means you can be just walking after people a lot before you are in a position to even do anything.

Furthermore his ability cannot down an injured survivor, Deathslinger is functionally an m1 killer (with some perks included, STBFL being usable). From previous posts it seems 1v1 down potential is the trade off. Land the hit quickly and rotate.

But even in a really good start the momentum doesn't really carry through as you cannot physically traverse the map fast enough. On smaller maps this is a mild problem, on larger maps it is terrible.

I am not skilled to the point of landing near every hit (skill issue I know) but my most successful rounds aren't when I play well, its when the survivors play close quarters ie. altruism squads or bully squads.

So I am wondering whether Deathslinger needs a buff. Maybe 1.15 movement or less movement loss somewhere in his every ability interaction.

The closest comparable killer is Huntress in also being 1.1 movement with a need to reload. But with this lack of movement comes with her ability to down at very long range and over pallets and some terrain. She is also not slowed down as much by ability interactions.

Deathslinger just feels to slow.
