What is the deciding factor as to whether or not an invisible wall is added?

Speaking as someone who loves to play Demogorgon, it's quite irritating that it's around a 50/50 chance I can platform from a higher point to another area or smack into an invisible wall, killing all my pressure in chase. If the intention is to stop bug abuse, that's understandable, but placing an invisible wall isn't the best solution. If a jumping point is too problematic, wouldn't it be better to just change that point, than applying an invisible band-aid?

Launching and platforming is one of the most fun parts of playing Demo, please stop making it a guessing game as to where we can go

I guess it depends on specific developer. I bet it's same dev who removed Flying Billy.
