There should be a base reward for killers or survivors that need to fill
As we are told mmr is apparently a thing. Ideally u should only be matched with ppl that are about ur skill level. Reality as most of us have noticed is that the System deems short queue times more important than the accurate matchmaking.
For me that means that when I play dbd in the evening i mostly go up against survivors with above 6k hours most of them in swfs that most of the time absolutely wipe the floor with me. But apparently even though im losing a lot of matches and can totally not keep up, this repeats again and again every evening. So either im im somehow not losing mmr even though in like 70% of matches i have 4 escapes or which i rather believe im getting pulled up into higher mmr since there is no killer available and the queue times get to long.
I feel like when this happens and you get pulled up you should get a base BP reward right of the bat. Chances are that you wont make nearly as much BP in matches against higher skilled survs that run you for an eternity than you would when playing against ppl from your level. For me its super frustrating playing these matches, trying to make it fun and basically having to sweat my ass off to get anything and in the end i go out with like 12k points. Thats why I think you should get some BP reward after the match depending on how high the actual mmr difference was.
Same goes for surv when they get pulled up into higher mmr. Somehow when I'm on holiday and therefor have time to play DBD in the early afternoon the same thing happens the other way around. Killers being clearly stronger and survivors totally getting destroyed left and right.

"MMR"

I could see some benefit in this. It's unlikely at this stage that mmr will be visible, that I can understand. However, if there was some BP bonus at the end for any time where a player has been shifted into a match with participants of higher experience it would be nice to acknowledge this.
It may also lessen the frustration of mmr for those who are placed into this scenario. The fact is, because of the nature of the matchmaking, people will find themselves in trials unsuited to their abilities. Acknowledging this with a bonus may very well make people feel a little more justified when they get screwed over.

Not a bad idea really. The calculations are already being run to work out much much MMR gain/loss you receive at the end of the match. Using the same numbers to award a consolation score based on how much higher your opponents MMR was should be possible, and help lessen the sting of getting tunneled out or such.
If an escape is 7000, then this score could be around 2000-5000 depending on the MMR difference.

Now, on average, a maniac receives blood points equal to three players per survivor.
I propose to reduce the points awarded to maniacs by 3 times.
Are you sure you want to see such calculations?

I don't even need any bonus BP... I would just like to see (during the endgame summary, so no one can use this to dodge) that I was up against a 10k hour SWF or whatever. :)

Some of my most BP filled matches have been against super good players since long chases and getting multiple hooks, breaking a lot of pallets and damaging a lot of gens all max out your points in longer matches compared to just stomping people.
If you yourself are a new player then it is understandable the frustration, but once you get to a certain point you can put up a good fight against most players (except comp teams, but these are good players and they have a specific plan) hell even if you lose and only get 1 kill, if you put up a good fight then you can still get a lot of points.

I really like this idea. Could maybe give players some bonus XP for any MMR mismatches. It could pop up at the end of the game like the Abandoned/Quitter bonus.
