We should get random perks 50% of the time.
I suggest 50% of the time someone gets random perks, 50% of the time they get to choose their perks.
It resets every day, first game of the day is random perks, and it changes after every game.
There'd be an option to play random perks twice in a row if you wanna synchronize with a swf so you all get to pick your perks simultaneously.
If a killer goes up against a SWF that has no random perks on any character, they do not get random perks but get to choose their perks.

Im all for random perks being a feature added to the game, but don’t agree with it being something forced onto the player. I could see it being annoying if you just want to experiment with a certain build or if you have a challenge where you need to use a certain perk, and the game spawns you with a completely different build, etc.
Not to mention you might have survivors spawn in, decide they don’t like the build they got, then d/c or kill themselves on hook.

This would:
- Be annoying if you want to do an adept
- Be annoying if you want to do a tome challenge
- Be annoying if you want to try a new perk
- Be annoying if you want to play your usual build
- Be annoying if you want to use no perks
- Be a pain if you need some perks for accessibility (shadowborn, bloodhound)
- Tell killers they're going against a swf which would make lobby shopping worse
- Make players DC / give up when they don't like their build
Also, questions about this:
If a killer goes up against a SWF that has no random perks on any character, they do not get random perks but get to choose their perks.
- Does this apply to duos, trios, or only 4ppl swf ?
- What's the point of forcing people to have random perks if killers get exceptions ?
- If it's about "balance" why aren't solos allowed to pick their perks if the killer picks theirs ?
- Wouldn't it be super easy for swfs to bypass the rule by having 3ppl pick their perks every game and rotate thanks to the "sync with friend" feature ?
I would absolutely love a random option but this isn't the way to do it. It should be a fun option and not something that forces people to run bad stuff half the time (especially not when perks cost money).

I don’t think this would work because say you prestige your killer/survivor to where you have most of the perks in game, how many of those do you remember exactly what they do without the description? And how many of those perks do people not use at all because they’re just a waste of a perk slot? Also what about the killers that have unique gameplay and some perks are incompatible?
However I would be on board with an optional randomization.

People would just dodge the second they got a perk set they weren't happy with - and sure, you could make it so that if you DC it forces random perks next game, but not only is that presenting random perks as a punishment but also survivors would find a way to quickly end the games they were in with random perks so they could play the game with the builds they like.
I'm all for discussions surrounding perk balance and discussions about implementing random perk slots into the game, but this isn't the way to achieve either.

I think a limited-time game-mode where all 5 players get 2 random perks (from the whole perk-pool, not just from what they own) and then 60s to select their last two perks would be very fun.
