New Game Modes/Custom Modes

I know I am not at all the first person to say this but after 8 years of the same gameplay with occasional changes(some admittedly good), I really think DBD should start experimenting with new game modes. Here are a few suggestions.

  1. Random Matches - The first I'd argue would be the easiest to make permanent. The random perk challenges from tomes are genuinely fun for some people, myself included. I believe there should be an option to select that for any trial. I get that it could be potentially detrimental to your team, but it's better than running no perks at all, plus it would be optional. Perhaps you could even give a bloodpoint bonus of some kind for running the random build
  2. Hide & Seek - This suggestion could be for custom matches specifically but more casual, fun game modes could work well. DBD Mobile, while a different development team, is working on a Prop Hunt/Hide and Seek mode. That would be really fun to do for people who want to just have casual, good hearted fun with their friends. Like I said, that could just be for custom matches, but it could also be it's own game mode as well.
  3. Special Trial - Another suggestion based on the idea of switching it up, this would be it's own category as well. Same general rules and game play but there will be random effects to make things different. For example, you spin a wheel and your in game effect is something called "Motion Sickness." If you run a loop for too long or spin, your character becomes hindered or straight up vomits as if you were facing The Plague.

These are just suggestions, but I truly think that while some matches can be fun, doing the same thing over and over gets stale really fast. Especially on the survivor side
