I see it almost every match lol
ATM I do not feel like it is an issue though, it makes the game feel more interesting and makes you need to be more aware of your surroundings. If a stealth killer was to use movement perks with it though it could quickly become an issue.

What is “healthy” about getting a one shot for merely playing the game?
2 -
It promotes spreading hooks instead of tunneling, and some survivors consider the latter an issue and/or not very fun.
It's also easy to recognize and counter - just run away from the hook. If it's a high mobility killer, get in a locker before hooking if you are the Obsession.

The problem with it is that It's literally Two perks in One!
Either have it activate on hooking the obsession (like Furtive Chase) OR on hooking a non obsession.

Because a carrot would be a welcome alternative to all the sticks of late. Just give it a try.

If you can't last 20 seconds in chase, then the issue lies with you. If you are close enough to the hook to get hit and downed by the exposed, then you simply just got caught out.
The majority of the time, the exposed won't come into play unless the Killer goes out of their way to do so.

Deffinetly needs a cooldown for at least 40 seconds.
And minimum range of 32m. Just had a guy get exposed nearby a hook.

Too strong?
In my opinion, that perk get super heavy countered by Distortion.

Not to mention, if you know the perk is in play, it's easy enough to hop in a locker as the obsession to avoid the aura reading before the hook. It's a super telegraphed perk.
