Over time, you get used to it and realize that The Singularity is actually a very underrated killer. In the good hands The Singularity can really dominate the game so hard. He is actually currently ok, no need for any changes or any stuff about him. If you didn't like his design or gameplay, playing as another killer is always an option, my friend.

You're likely not experienced with him and that's okay. I don't even think he's that insanely map dependent. If you're good enough with him you can make it work, and with the right build he's very strong because those "fancy useless abilities" are far from useless, it just takes a lot of practice before you're comfortable. He could definitely use some QOL, but that goes for most of the roster.

He's also an original DLC so you didn't need to spend any money to play him.

Singularity is just a frustrating killer to play. Many people have described it quite well in sense that while he can be strong killer, the amount of effort you have to put in to make him work every match often doesn't equal the value you get back for it.

He's intensive and the definition of playing 4D chess, but it's exhausting and not for everyone. Plus much of that intensive effort is so easily undone by EMP's, especially since people carry them on standby so the moment you can even land a hit they've already cleansed themselves and you can't use his chase potential without wasting more time.
