Pyramid head cage not killing the survivor

I had a match on dead dog and had 2 survivors left. I sent one to a cage and was chasing the last survivor. He took me too close to the cage and it moved to the other side of the map like it's supposed to. I finished chasing him then noticed that the caged survivor never died even though there time ran out. I hooked the last one and he died but the game just kept going. I only got the match to end by finding hatch and closing it. The match ended about 30 seconds after end game collapse ended. Not sure why.
